RSM Campus Automation Challenge
RSM hosted RSM Pathways, and I was also invited to participate in their Campus Automation Challenge.
For the challenge, my team and I did a quick training on RPAs on Automation Anywhere.
Using Automation Anywhere’s drag and drop, we planned and worked on a bot that will automatically input airport departure locations and destination locations. Then, the bot will sort the flights by price and capture information for the top flights. The bot captured price, time, CO2 emissions, and time and imported the information to Excel.
Though our bot was not fully functional, we were named one of the winners for our teamwork and presentation.
For this experience, I learned the value of Robotic Process Automation, and how it can help us be more efficient with repetitive tasks. I also learned that it is possible to have fun and make friends with work.
