Throughout the my academic years, I have become involved in a variety of organizations such as:
- Member of the Gamma Iota Sigma Chapter
- Actuarial Science Career Development Committee
- Risk Management Career Development Committee
- Being a Mentor for an undergraduate student (incoming freshman)
- Member of the Muslim Society Association (MSA)
- President of the Math Club
Being part of these organizations have helped me achieve my greatest potential, establish a higher standard of achievements in my academic years. My experiences have contributed greatly to my time at both universities.
I have had the unique privilege to serve as the President of the Math Club at Penn State University. I was elected by the unique classroom performance in Calculus and tutoring. I have worked to improve proficiency of the club and the members, organizing and planning for events to attract new members and giving back to the community, transformed “boring” math to “fun” math, providing extra tutoring help in any areas of mathematics for every student.
