Crew Member | Customer Service Associate

During my time as a Customer Service Associate at Poke Bros., a fast-casual restaurant serving 80+ customers daily and managing online orders through Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub, I was responsible for supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring high-quality customer service. The restaurant is located at 1273 NJ-33, Suite 6, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690, and employs a small, team-oriented staff in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

My primary responsibilities included managing point-of-sale transactions using Square POS, handling cash and gift cards, monitoring inventory and restocking ingredients, assisting first-time customers with menu selection, and coordinating with coworkers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations. I also troubleshoot technical issues with office equipment, including printers, internet connectivity, and security cameras. Additionally, I analyzed customer data from Square POS and online ordering platforms to predict ingredient requirements and support inventory planning.

This role significantly enhanced my skills in customer relationship management, database and transaction processing, inventory tracking, multitasking, and team coordination. These experiences relate directly to my MIS coursework in areas such as Data and Analytics, giving me practical exposure to managing integrated systems in a dynamic, real-world environment.
