Academic Spotlight: Legal Studies

For most of my childhood, I had my heart set on becoming a lawyer. Although my plans have changed, and I do not intend to pursue a law career, I am still fascinated by the judicial system. After my first Legal Studies class, I joined Temple’s Legal Studies Student Professional Organization, Phi Alpha Delta (PAD). What I love about PAD is the diversity or the members! I really enjoy that we all have different majors and career goals, but share a common interest.

Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity

PAD is a pre-law Student Professional Organization within Fox, and I am a member of the Fundraising Committee . I joined the SPO my freshman year after visiting their booth at the SPO fair. PAD has given me the opportunity to learn about the law school application process, enhance my professional development skills, and network with practicing lawyers.

Work Sample
I included a sample Legal Case Study that I wrote to demonstrate my business communication skills. One of my strengths is my ability to utilize rhetorical techniques and testimonial evidence to construct a compelling legal argument.
