What is AIS?
AIS is an organization for undergraduate MIS students in the Fox School of Business. My involvement in this organization has been incredibly rewarding professionally and personally. Since I joined in 2014, I have built professional and personal relationships that will last a lifetime.
AIS offers an abundance of benefits to its members, some of which include:
- Speaker Series with Industry Professionals
- TDAP Technical Workshops
- Networking with Faculty and Recruiters
- Community Service Events like Hootathon
This organization has also provided me the invaluable opportunity to network with accomplished industry professionals! So far, I have had the lunch with executives from NBC, Walmart, QVC, and Lockheed Martin.

AIS Awards- Temple Analytics Challenge
- Honorable Mention, Temple Data Analytics Challenge, November 2015
- Finalist, AIS National Competition- Data Analytics Track, April 2016
My group received an Honorable Mention in the Temple Analytics Challenge. In the spring of 2016, we also traveled to the University of Indiana- Bloomington to compete in the AIS National Competition.
Our competition submission included an infographic and written report in which we answered Merck’s question, “Will an Ebola vaccine change world heath?” Please click the links below to view our submission!
