Personal Journal Entry (week ending 10/24/14)
This week has been relatively slow in terms of progress for the project. Our team was able to finalize the project schedule and budget. We used Microsoft Excel for the budget, which will most likely cause problems in the future when we’re trying to compile the budget and the schedule. Next Monday, I will work on transferring the budget into Microsoft Project in order to prevent future problems. Once we finalize the schedule, we will begin to ask our BAs to stay within the budgeted hours for the project. We have noticed that our BAs are spending large amounts of time doing one task, so we will need to make them aware that their time costs money ($100 to be exact).
