Personal Journal Entry (week ending 10-31-14)
This past Sunday, the team started to work on prototyping the Somerville’s website. I informed the team that prototyping is by far the longest, most time-consuming part of the project, so they should not expect to finalize the prototype early in the project. In other words, the prototype is a work in progress and things will be added continually as the project progresses. I also suggested that each team member take some ‘homework’ in regard to the prototype. Each team member should be assigned a role to work on outside of meetings to contribute to the working prototype. This will expedite the prototyping process and allow for each team member to contribute their unique ideas to the prototype. After the working version has been compiled for the week, I have asked one of the BA’s who is responsible for the prototyping process to send me what they have completed so far so that I can provide feedback and make suggestions.
