Node.js: Securing RESTful APIs
By completing this LinkedIn Learning certificate, I was able to learn different ways to secure a RESTful API in order to keep data safe. I learned about the five of the biggest security risks when it comes to RESTful APIs and I was also introduced to OWASP, which contains more information on API security. I followed a step-through in which I learned about adding handlers for registration and login. Finally, I was able to test the API through Postman, which is an open-source resource. This furthered my Node.js and RESTful API knowledge.
