Effectively Demonstrate the Business Value of IT in Midsize Enterprises
This was a live webinar hosted by Gartner on July 31st, 2023. This webinar focused on the trouble that Chief Information Officers (CIO) have when communicating to superiors since reports tend to seem about technology and not how they will impact business. The goal of the webinar was to teach CIOs how demonstrate that information and technology have impact on the corporations goals by showing the link between IT and professionals outside of IT. The way to do this is to form a more convincing narrative and showing to the people that matter. This relates to my career goals because at some point I will have to show why what I am doing or pushing for matters and how it brings value to my employer.
