Using Power BI with Excel
This was a LinkedIn Learning certification. Through this LinkedIn certification I was able to discover Power BI which is a data analysis that organizations use to make working with data easier. The instructor, John David, showed how to combine the features of Power BI with Excel which is a familiar application. I was able to learn how to manipulate data in ways that are presentable to possible stakeholders in the future. I learned how to perform calculations with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and again, manipulate data through visualization with built-in features that Power BI already has. This is relevant to my coursework because it is similar to other programs I have used, such as MySQL Workbench, but it merges it with the tools of Excel which I use on a regular basis as well.
