Using OpenStreetMap Data for Urban Spatial Analysis: Crowdsourced Geography for Research
OpenStreetMaps is a valuable community built source of geographic data that is used by many companies to analysis different environments. This workshop covered how this data can be used to map roads and buildings along with how to create interactive maps. The topics covered gave me a better understanding of how this data can be used to create and support business plans and how data mapping can be applied to real world applications.
