Interests and Hobbies
Since before I could even talk, music has played a huge part in my life. There is something about a certain piece of music that can alter your mood or change your perspective that can simply not be explained. I grew up listening to the music of my parents generation such as The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin but over time ended up adapting my own taste that differed from my parents. Nowadays I enjoy all different types of genres my favorites being alternative, rock, electronic, and hip hop. There is not a day that goes by where I do not listen to music. It is the engine that gets me through each and every day. In my free time, I enjoy to fool around with production software such as Fruity Loops and Logic and create my own hip hop or electronic instrumentals. I one day hope I can take my MIS degree and find a dream job within the music industry.
Since around the time I could walk, I’ve also had a large interest in athletic activities. Growing up, baseball was always my favorite sport to play and watch. I played in local leagues until freshman year in high school whem I somehow became more interested in basketball. From here I decided to devote most of my time to improving on the hardwood and it still is my favorite sport to play to this day. Though I can’t keep up like I used to, I enjoy following my favorite professional teams such as the Phillies, Sixers, and Eagles and jump at the chance to go to games as much as I can.
One last thing that has always fascinated me is technology and the implementation of new technologies. I have grown up in an exploding time of the information age and I have seen technology drastically change the way we do things in this world. I’ve seen brick cell phones turn into flip phones and then those flip phones turn into the smartphones we all know and love today. The way technology makes every day activities easier is a strong interest of mine. I am very curious as to how the future of technology will affect business and I am eager to be working in the midst of transformations that occur.
