TNT Fireworks
During the summer of 2013, I got a job locally at a fireworks distributor in my town. This particular location at the time was the number one fireworks store in America in terms of sales. The work force was split between cashiers and salespeople. I was appointed a sales position after examination of my communication skills.
On the job, my duty was to inform customers on the display of certain fireworks and help them pick out complimentary items in order to create the perfect show. After the summer was over, I tied for the most “Big Bangs” sold. The “Big Bang” was the most expensive assortment in the store and management gave the salesperson with the most sold a little prize. During my time at TNT I thoroughly improved my communication skills and am glad I got the experience needed to boost these skills.
