Nino’s Pizza
At Nino’s, I worked as a delivery driver during the summer of 2013. The job was very simple but I had gotten myself acquainted with the upper management and ended up being a factor in some important decisions for the company. As a driver I had developed my communication skills even more by interacting with the different customers and trying to make casual conversation at every door step. When the drivers were not on runs, we were in the store helping out servers and managers do their duties. During the summer of 2013, the store underwent renovations. My recommendation of the dining room design was the deciding factor in the renovating process. I had come up with a design that separates the pick up section of the store, separate from the eat in section and my design stuck with the owner.
