Use these questions to help you prepare for assessments or exams. Note that these questions are not specifically the ones that will be on either the assessment or exam; the goal of answering these is for you to go back into the readings and gain a deeper understanding.

  1. What are the 4 parts to consider of a customer segmentation tool?
  2. Customer equity, profitability, and lifetime value are different measures of a customer. What’s the difference between the 3 of them?
  3. What are some ways data collected by CRMs can help develop new products?
  4. Name 3 laws and regulations surrounding consumer data and give a short description of what each does.
  5. What is the difference in prospecting vs qualifying a potential customer?
  6. What is a target market? What data makes an ideal customer profile?
  7. CRMs collect lots of customer data. What types of data does this include?
  8. In what ways does a CRM improve customer service?
  9. What are MQL and SQL customers? The difference between them?
  10. What is the concept of Share of Customer? What does it mean when it’s high? How about when it’s low?
