Education
I graduated from La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, PA in 2009. I had no intentions of attending the school at first, but I took a 7th grade practice test and earned a scholarship to attend the pre-8th grade enrichment program. I loved all of my teachers and I had such a great time that summer I realized that La Salle was where I was meant to be.
I participated in many extracurricular activities during my time at La Salle. I was active with student council all four years. Two of the years I served as class representative and the other two I was elected as class president. I played freshman football and was a member of the Multicultural and Italian clubs. Once I stopped playing football, I began managing our varsity lacrosse team. Our team has won the Pennsylvania State Championship in 2004, 2008, and 2009, and Catholic League Championship from 2004-2010. I was also one of 15 chosen to start an ambassador program which allowed us to show families around for tours when we conducted our open houses or assist when other important events and dinners were going on at the school. I also was lucky enough to go on the schools Kairos retreat as a junior, and then lead the first retreat for my class as a senior. It was a humbling experience and truly brought our class together. According to our college counselors, out of 250 students, 76% of the Class of 2009 earned in excess of $25.5 million in documented scholarships and grants, and i was fortunate enough to be included in this group of graduates.
