The Optimization of Influencer Marketing & Beyond

This conference was held on zoom on February 9th, 2021. This conference spoke about how social media influencers are managed and how they make a living. Many different things were taken into consideration, such as their personal image, their body type, and what their social media page was about. I learned how companies track their clients’ (the influencer) pages, and use their comments and the number of likes on their posts, to determine how well the influencer is marketing a certain product. Companies can track how many bots are in the comment section which I found pretty interesting. This activity relates to my coursework in Data and Analytics, because of how companies use data from influencers. The data collected can be used to create tables with useful data to determine how much more or less a company should spend on marketing/advertising.
