Thanksgiving Community Brunch
Making a decision to volunteer is one way of helping others, but often it is challenging to find the time. Many people have a busy life; taking the kids to practice, working, preparing meals for the family, taking the pets out for a walk, cleaning the house, grocery shopping, taking parents to doctor visits, and just trying to keep up with the demands of life.
If you’re too busy to volunteer or otherwise donate your time, giving money allows you to contribute. Never think that you can’t improve someone’s life or the world itself if your personal or professional schedule won’t allow the time. Writing out a check is a simple way to show you’re willing to help others in any way you can.
We Understand
We understand that you are unable to give to every charity, every month, but if you will be giving next month think of us. The Thanksgiving Community Brunch is a valuable cause that helps the community.
Why is October Important
October is our most important month as we gather all donations to assure that our Chef is able to get all the products needed, and we start putting together all the care package for our guest. The care packages include; toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, winter hates, gloves, socks, scarfs, and feminine products for the women.
We Love What We Do

We welcome you to join us on our journey towards making a difference. Our goal is to make a difference, and with your help this is possible. What started out as two friends with a desire to give back to the community, has become a driving force to bring our community together and feeding over 500 people each year.

November 27, 2013 our founders Brent Cronin, and George J Raymond held the first Thanksgiving Community Brunch at St. Michaels Church 2139 E. Cumberland street Philadelphia Pa 19125. Since then we continue to grow and watch as this event brings people closer together. It was after our first event that we realized we found something bigger than ourselves. As we developed new relationship, things seem to unfold perfectly; Chef Matthew Lane and his team orchestrate one of the finest feast the east coast has experienced, Local businesses, Friends and our Families provide the support required to feed a growing 500 people, and the community has a place to partake and be a part of for the holiday. It’s so rewarding to hear the community talk about the Thanksgiving Community Brunch as one of their wonderful memories.

This year on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 our team provided over 500 meals to families, Veterans, Homeless and people facing hardship. We were able to provide 250 care packages with winter hats, gloves, socks, scarfs and hygiene products.

We Welcome you to Join Us

This year we will be hosting the Thanksgiving Community Brunch on November 22, 2017 at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church 2139 E. Cumberland Street Philadelphia Pa 19125.

We are so grateful to have an amazing team, network and community support to help make a difference in the lives of other people.
