My Schools

Temple University

I choose to study at Temple University to complete my undergraduate degree as double major in International Business and Management Information Systems, as well as a minor in Spanish. Temple University’s International Business Program is ranked #9 nationally and its MIS Program is ranked in the top 20 programs in the United States.  The Fox school of Business is Greater Philadelphia’s largest business school, with 6,500 students, 175 full-time faculty and 59,000 alumni. Temple University’s student body has been named the most diverse in the nation. With these notable statistics, I am proud to say that I am a Temple Owl. More importantly, I believe that Temple has offered me amazing opportunities that I would not had the ability to experience anywhere else. I can honestly say that Temple’s Honors Program is more than a degree, it’s an education.

Pittston Area Senior High School

I graduated from Pittston Area Senior High School, a midsize public high school which serves eight boroughs in Luzurne county. I graduated in 2010 with Honors with Distinction. A select number of students, including myself, were admitted into a Dual-Enrollment Program which allowed students to take AP, or college level courses, without leaving our institution. I took four AP courses: AP Literature, AP History, AP Calculus, and AP Psychology. I was also involved in a number of extracurricular activities. Some of the groups I was involved in were: National Honors Society, Key Club, Student Council, Student Government, Pep Squad, and Varsity Field Hockey. My graduating class had higher a graduation rate and higher test scores than classes before and after us. Pittston Area provided me with the base of my education and prepared me to attend Temple University.
