Senior managers and board directors are ultimately responsible for identifying and controlling IT risks arising from relationships with third parties such as vendors, sub-contractors, customers, joint-ventures, and other external entities. Such risk may include: strategic risk, reputational risk, operational risk, compliance risk, credit risk, and other risks. This presentation will introduce and discuss the importance of third-party risk management, involvement of key stakeholders, associated processes and how to run and mature these programs.
Sudhanshu Kairab currently serves as the VP of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance and is responsible for security policy management, third party risk assurance, security education and awareness, and IT security compliance at Comcast. He has a strong background in security, compliance and internal audit. Prior to joining Comcast, Sudhanshu worked for Wyndham Worldwide where he held similar leadership roles. He has also worked for several other companies including IBM, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Deloitte. Sudhanshu obtained his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Bucknell University and Northeastern University.
