Why Should I Take this Course?   (What Key Things will I Learn?)

What Should I do to Assure Getting a Good Grade in this Course?

Note:  Items I heard more often are bolded and made larger (larger means more commonly shared).

Welcome to MIS 5121 Online!  I hope you are as excited to get started as I am.  You will learn the the fundamentals of ERP Systems, the business processes they enable and the controls necessary to assure they work properly.

In preparation, please see course content and requested activities in menu path: Schedule -> First Half of Semester -> Week 1: Introduction

We will begin class on Monday, August 29th when we will review the structure of the course, what I am expecting from you, and introduce to some basics of the core concepts we cover in the course: Business Processes, ERP Systems and Controls.  You’ll also be introduced to the SAP system we’ll use for many of the course assignments.

This class session (as we’ll do every week) will be conducted as a Webex meeting.  I expect that you will join with full audio and video working.

See you all on Webex Monday night the 29th.
