At KPMG LLP, I worked as a Cooperate Management Intern at the Philadelphia office. This was an amazing experience because I got to shadow as well as work with the accounting professionals. During my summer at this spectacular firm, I learned a lot about accounting and acquired various skills on how to become a good accountant.
Below were my duties:
- Shadowed the various accounting professionals in order to obtain hands on experience in the accounting field.
- Assisted the human resource department with planning, organizing and facilitating some of the organization’s events and activities for about 700+ employees
- Worked with the recruiting department and administrative department in collating various information.
- Displayed proficient technical skills with regards to Microsoft Word and Excel.
