Bridals By Danielle
I have always passed by Bridals By Danielle coming home from school and I told myself one day, I will work here and when I walked in to hand in my resume, I received a call back with an internship position. Bridals By Danielle is a bridal store selling a range of different designer dresses within a wide price range, so we can help most brides get their dream dress. I started interning here the end of my 2013 Spring semester and been there until the beginning of 2013 Fall semester. I had the task of pressing, steaming and packaging dresses for when the day the brides come to pick them up. I also was in charge of inventory, making sure dresses and accessories were in on time, as well as updating inventory when a package arrives. I also was a receptionist where I handled customer service, booked/cancelled/rescheduled appointments, and greeted clients. When the bridal consultants and seamstresses had bridal appointments, I would assist them with pulling client items to the fitting rooms and helping them clean up the room for the next appointment. I also helped my boss, who became the new owner, with administrative work, such as creating excel files for order purchases, clients order lists, and errands. Through this experience, i have gained much insight in the bridal industry and I’m very fortunate to have received this opportunity, as well as meeting wonderful co-workers.
