Paula Hian Designs
In March 2013, I had been given the opportunity to work with Paula Hian, an internationally recognized fashion designer whose edgy, yet distinctively sophisticated creations have been worn by stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Momsen and Brooke Shields. She has built a name for herself in New York and now France while her main showroom is in Manayunk, Pennsylvania. She is a fashion icon with a lovely personality and I had the pleasure of working for her. I was a fashion merchandising/marketing intern and I had the job of helping to branch her name out even more. I was also in charge of updating her fashion blogs as well as other social media sites to showcase her new collections and updates. I was also her assistant, so I had to help her with errands and assist her in meetings. I’m glad I got this chance to work with a fashion designer because it helped me gain experience in the fashion industry.
