Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity

pktcrest2

At Temple University, I am a member of the fraternity Phi Kappa Theta. Phi Kappa Theta is a national social fraternity with over fifty recognized chapters nationwide. The fraternity was founded on four ideals: fraternal, intellectual, social, and spiritual.

I currently serve as the Vice President of Intellectual Development for my chapter. This position involves eliciting communication with Nationals on a regular basis. During our chapter meetings, I am responsible for minute-taking and am therefore the primary channel of communication between our chapter and Nationals.

The Intellectual pillar means “duty to self and parents.” Every semester, I hold workshops that help counsel brothers on how to become better students and provide them with academic strategies and outlets throughout the university.
