Fox’s Career Connection
This event was a career connection held online via Handshake on Februrary 11, 2021. I was provided with an excel sheet of the many companies attending and the job positions that they were seeking to fulfill. Because this event was not focused around positions involving technology, it was difficult for me to find positions that applied to my field of study. However, It did give me the opportunity to talk to recruiters I wouldn\’t have normally approached. During this time I was able to speak with a number of recruiters and ask them about their technology focused opportunities. if they were unable to provide answers for me, they made sure to get me into contact with personnel that did. Overall it was a great experience and has increased my chance of becoming employed in the future.
