Hello and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Jeremy Tibbetts and I am a Management Information Systems major with a minor in Finance at Temple University. I grew up in Reading, PA, where I played football and rugby. I have always had an interest in technology, but I became especially interested when I took my first programming class in high school. I decided to enter school as a finance major because I also had a strong interest in investments. I declared a minor in MIS in my second semester of junior year. At this time I was in an investment club, but I ultimately decided after my data analytics class that I enjoyed the technology field more. I switched my major to MIS, but I kept the finance minor as I still have interest in this field.
In the fall of 2018, I was exposed to a lot of different classes in technology. This semester I am continuing my education in MIS, but I have started doing a lot more research about career choices outside of the classroom that relates to MIS. My primary interests revolve around cyber security, network administration, database administration, computer systems analysis, and research. I believe that my core strengths of analytical thinking, problem solving, communication, and research skills will suit me well in this fields. I look forward to continue learning about these topics both inside and outside the classroom while searching for careers in these fields! In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the gym, playing racquetball, hiking, fishing, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. Thank you again for visiting my page!
