Career Objectives
The reason I chose to pursue a major in MIS is because technology plays such a pivotal role in a business’s operations. I feel that it is a field where I can benefit the business and search for new ways of improvement.
My educational objectives at Temple University are as follow:
Fall 2016:
- Start taking major courses
- Join AIS (Association for Information Systems)
Spring 2017:
- Keep taking more in-depth major course and develop MIS related skills
- Stay involved in AIS and take advantage of the opportunities they provide
- Improve GPA, especially in major classes
- Actively look for summer internship opportunity
Fall 2017:
- Keep my GPA up
- Stay involved in AIS
- Search for winter/summer internship opportunity
Spring 2018:
- Stay focused on GPA
- Stay involved in AIS
- Search for winter/summer internship opportunity
Fall 2018:
- Stay Focused
- Search for a position in my field
- Graduate
Upon graduation, I plan to focus on finding a career within my field. I am confident that I will be ready by graduation because the education at Temple University will provide me the knowledge I require to operate in an MIS career.
