To Learn Is To Grow
I had the pleasure of participating in the AIS Mentorship Program during the trial run of its first year and first semester. I can say wholeheartedly that I am incredibly glad to have partaken of it. Not only did I gain great insight from someone who experienced what I’m going through and will be going through firsthand, but I gained a great friend as well. I am lucky enough to have several mentors in my life, but some of us are not so lucky. I believe this program would immensely benefit those looking for someone to look up to. When you have someone for you who leads by example, what you’ll want to do most is follow in their footsteps. Your job as a mentee is to make sure you stay on that path and to reach out when you feel lost. Thank you to the Chair of Mentorship, Adam, and thank you to my mentor, Chi!
