Data Science – Data is an incredible resource; taking the Data Science course has taught me much about visualization through Tableau, and the process of discovering meaningful, quality pieces of data.
Information Systems in Organizations – The introduction course to MIS, the Information Systems in Organizations course thoroughly explains the undertaking of implementing technology on a larger, real-world scale. Enterprise systems, entity relationship diagrams and the like are integral.
Data Analytics – Data analytics officially introduces programming languages such as R and SQL to students. While not the easiest to pick up at first, learning the fundamentals of analyzing data is a great foundation for beginning to do so.
Data-Centric Application Development – Diving into the essentials of web development, we learned the ins-and-outs of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to create a functional site.
