Evaluating AI Research Tools In Library Databases
The Zoom meeting I attended was “Evaluating AI Research Tools for Library Databases,” hosted by Temple University Libraries. I am a Management Information Systems (MIS) major, and I attended the meeting with the intent of learning about the potential for AI tools to be incorporated into academic databases, as well as whether it could be of use for my research. I learned a great deal about the potential of AI tools for research, as well as the negative aspects, especially when it comes to critical thinking and academic integrity for new users. I was an active participant, relating it to my research and the potential for new technology.
