Intro to AI-assisted Text Mining in Proquest TDM Studio
As a Management Information Systems major at Temple University, I attended the “Intro to AI-assisted Text Mining in ProQuest TDM Studio” workshop as part of Love Data Week 2026. This workshop provided attendees with an introduction to ProQuest’s Text Data Mining (TDM) Studio. It specifically highlighted the newly released AI research assistant to aid in analyzing large amounts of data. Through this workshop, I learned how to access the TDM Studio platform to analyze large text-based datasets. It specifically highlighted how AI could aid the analysis of large amounts of data. This skill set is highly applicable to decision-making in business or technology settings.
