IBIT Fireside Chat
The Title of this IBIT Fireside Chat is “The Purpose of Work”. This webinar took place on December 7th, 2020, over Zoom. The Presenter, Mark Spykerman, is the Chief Information Officer at AmerisourceBergen Corporation. Spykerman talked about how he had to hold multiple positions in leadership to make improvements to the company’s effectiveness and efficiency. What I can take from this chat, is that sometimes you need to step up for the company’s sake and take on the roles in leadership, when someone isn’t pulling their weight. This activity relates to my career goals because I believe that Spykerman has the perfect vision for how to lead a business to success.
