Accounting and Data Analytics
The activity was a webinar on Accounting and Data Analytics. I attended this webinar in the Spring 2021 semester. Gleim CPA Prep was the organization that sponsored this event. It took place on 4/14/2021 from 1pm-2pm. It was an online webinar. During this webinar I got a look into the different departments in an accounting firm and how those professionals utilized data analytics and information systems in their every day work. I really enjoyed going to this webinar because I am an Accounting and MIS double major so I really enjoyed that it incorporated both topics into one. I hope to be able to utilize things I learned in both majors for my future career.
