What I learned-
The inner workings of blockchain and how specific sets of data can be tied to the original user, and this can generate an opportunity for someone to profit by selling their data in order to train an AI model with reliable data. Also included the general use of blockchain and how it encrypts transactions and always insures that the original creator is known even if their data is sold.
Coursework / Goals-
Some of the things mentioned were the fact that companies could use sensitive data that they could normally not expose to train these models without actually exposing the data. Example Company A uses sensitive data and Company B does as well to train this model. They break no rules as the data is not actually shared but the AI model is now trained and can use the information comparatively.
