During the Spring semester and Summer, I had the amazing opportunity to intern at goPuff in their Philadelphia headquarters. This was my first professional internship and I enjoyed learning the ins-and-outs of a Philadelphia-born startup immensely. It was an honor to work for a company with such dedication to the customer experience and focus on growth.

As a Marketing intern, I coordinated field marketing events, tracked our marketing material and staffing expenses, and recruited, onboarded, and managed brand ambassadors in the Midwest and West territories. From March to August, I managed 30 brand ambassadors across the Western United States in territories like Dallas, TX, Seattle, WA, and Lansing, MI. In this role I was responsible for tracking my amassadors’ work, creating and communicating challenges, and paying them accordingly.

My duties also included creating the Ground Marketing monthly spend sheet, calculating customer acquisition cost, and communicating with General Managers in all 90 of our territories regarding their marketing materials needs.

I am grateful for the time I spent at goPuff, gaining first hand knowledge of the inner workings of Ground Marketing. It was a wonderful experience and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

goPuff is an on-demand convenience store app founded in 2015 by two Drexel students. Since then, the company has grown exponentially and expanded into over 100 territories. goPuff prides itself on its low delivery fee, quick delivery times, and outside-the-box marketing approach.
