Honors Admissions and Transitions Team
My first experience with Temple was my tour with the Honors Ambassadors of the HATT. HATT stands for the Honors Admissions and Transitions Team and is mainly a group catered towards reaching out to potential Honors students in high school and exposing them to how great enrolling into Temple’s Honors Program can be. As a HATT member, I interact often with prospective Temple Honors students. I give tours of campus and the 1300 residence hall, e-mail high school seniors, take prospectives out to lunch or one of my Honors classes, and answer general questions about what it is like to be a Temple student, or more specifically a Temple Honors student. HATT also hosts day-long expositions called Experience Temple Days where hundreds of prospective Temple Honors students are invited to the Performing Arts Center to learn all about the Honors Program and get tours of 1300. I love giving back to the group that convinced me to join Temple Honors!
