Pool Manager and Director of Swim Lessons, Country Club of Scranton
I have worked at the Country club of Scranton for 5 total years. I was a lifeguard for 3 years, the assistant manager and director of swim lessons for 1 year, and finally the manager and director of swim lessons for one year. As pool manager, I supervised operations for 20 lifeguards serving 50-100 members daily. I communicated with staff, resolved customer complaints, and served as the liaison between members, pool staff, and general management. As the director of swim lessons, I advertised private lessons to country club members , managed instructors, and scheduled lessons for 35 families throughout the summer. I increased participation by 85% from the previous year by instituting a marketing and communications plan, which included brochures, email blasts, and posters.
