Digital Marketing Internship, Philadelphia Magazine
From January 2014 to May 2014, I was a digital marketing intern at Philadelphia Magazine. This internship vastly increased my knowledge of social media management in conjunction with event planning. I learned how to utilize Hootsuite to schedule tweets and review analytics, and I increased my ability to use social media to engage and interact with potential customers. My primary role was to manage the “PhillyMagEvents” twitter account, which reaches over 4,000 followers. I created fun, unique tweets about events that I found happening in Philadelphia and ran social media campaigns for Philadelphia Magazine sponsored events such as Philly Cooks and the Philadelphia Flower Show.
