A Chat with Black Professionals in Tech & Cybersecurity Confirmation
This event presented an opportunity to listen to the stories of Black professionals in cybersecurity-related fields/careers. The individuals on the panel shared their experiences in the industry and what it’s like being a professional in the field. In an industry that presents many challenges, these individuals shared their insights on overcoming these hardships and building themselves into the people they are today. All in all, I learned what I can do as an individual getting ready to enter this field to not only support others, but Black individuals specifically in this field now and in the future.
