Exam Review

Exam #3

  • The exam is closed book, closed notes.
  • The exam will be a combination of multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
  • You should bring a calculator.
  • You will NOT be able to use a computer during the exam.
  • Exam # 3 covers all the lectures on advanced analytics using R and RStudio.
  • I will hold an exam review session on Wednesday (12/5)
  • I will hold additional office hours on Thursday (12/6), in Speakman 201F (by appointment).

Exam #2

  • The exam will be a combination of multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
  • You will NOT be able to use a computer during the exam.
  • Exam # 2 covers all the lectures after “Advanced queries” and those before advanced analytics in R.
  • I will hold an exam review session on Wednesday (10/31)
  • Nathaly will hold office hours on Thursday, at 1:00-3:00 pm at Alter 604A, on 11/1, by ITA Nathaly.

Exam #1

  • The exam is closed book, closed notes.
  • You have the entire class period (50 minutes) to complete the exam.
  • The exam will be a combination of multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
  • You will NOT be allowed to use a computer during the exam.
  • Exam # 1 covers all the lectures up to “SQL 1: Getting Information Out of a Database – Basic”. So it will not cover advanced queries including, Join, Subselect, and also not cover SQL In.
  • We will have a review session on Friday (Oct 5th).
  • There will be an office hour next Monday, Oct 8th, 1:30-2:30 pm (before the Exam #1). And I will not hold office hour after Exam #1 on that day.
