Out for Undergrad Business Conference Career Fair
During Spring 2021, I attended the 2021 Out for Undergrad Business (O4UB) Conference. O4UB hosted the O4UB Career Fair on April 18th through Brazen, an online platform that allowed undergraduate students to connect with industry professionals across different sectors. I was able to connect with a variety of companies, such as Goldman Sachs, PwC, and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). I learned how to better network and where I want my professional life to pivot. I was able to do this by engaging with industry professionals by asking a range of personal and professional level questions, providing me a better sense of what I would like for my future. The career fair relates to my career goals as a proud queer professional. Through talking to other queer professionals within a variety of industries, I was able to build relationships and learn how to be bring my full self to work. In addition, I was able to learn more about the technology side of banking and consulting.
