Peer Advisor
- As a Fox Honors peer advisor, I guide over 400 students in advising. My role is to utilize technology (through Excel and communications) to help students advance in their academic career. As an MIS major, I’ve been fortunate to bond with other MIS underclassmen and guide them through undergrad.
- Reviewing Fly in 4 Grids: I accomplished helping students plan their semester(s). Chatting with MIS undergrad: Helped provide guidance on what classes to take and how to prepare.
- I learned that technology is prominent in ALL jobs, even as a peer advisor. I also learned how to communicate with people from different backgrounds, which is important in the field of technology. In this case, I worked with people of all ages and majors, which is important to my future career as a consultant.
