TUBC Blockchain for AI Workshop
This event was a workshop to learn about blockchain and how it is beneficial to the future of artificial intelligence. It was hosted by the president of TU Blockchain, Mitchel Zilbershteyn. A main takeaway is blockchain provides the benefit of decentralization and open-source innovation to AI. Crypto has the advantage of attestation, the immutable verification of data, and privacy because of encryption. These characteristics of blockchain can be useful in ensuring security of data for hospitals through the application of multi-party computation. Other technical applications I learned were zero knowledge proofs and proof of training data. Through this event, I learned more about blockchain and the important topics of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
