Earlier in life I’ve found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to be a wonderful way to spend time, stay in shape, ease stress, and work on self-defense. I have roughly 6 years of experience in the sport and while practicing casually I’ve earned a blue belt, which is currently my most painful accomplishment in life. While practicing BJJ I’ve also rounded out my martial arts experience by picking up some judo, kickboxing, and Muay Thai.
When I’m not getting beat up in the gym and the weather is cooperative, I enjoy taking my motorcycle for long rides through scenic areas. It’s a 2007 Honda VTX1800 that I’ve purchased myself, and I’ve had it for about 7 years now. I also own a bicycle, which I enjoy taking on long trips through the Schuylkill River Trail and other outdoorsy areas.
Finally, when I feel like getting aggravated, I’ll sit down and watch an Eagles or Sixers game. I’m fairly certain it’s worse for my health than the martial arts and the motorcycle, but I can’t help but support the local teams. Trust the Process.
