CSPD Career fair
Temple CSPD Career Fair, September 17th 2021
The Temple CSPD Career fair I attended was through online on handshake where they would either give us a zoom link or other online meeting codes where we would be able to talk to the companies recruiting team. Some of the companies I attended included Estee Lauder, ALDI, techtronics and etc.
I learned that when it comes to finding jobs there are a lot of work you have to prepare. It\’s more than just writing up a resume but also doing research and asking questions to the recruiters to see whether the culture of the company fits your personality and what you can get out of the experience.
The career fair really helped me understand more about the process of applying job and finding an internship. It also was a chance for me to get exposed and know more companies around me and what opportunities there are pursuing a MIS major.
