Associate Project Manager, Optimize Consulting Group
Optimize Consulting Group is a student-run organization operated under Association for Information Systems (AIS) that offers pro bono consulting services to Philadelphia based non-profits. I’ve learned how to identify and evaluate the effectiveness of current business processes, construct plans to address issues within the processes, and implement our solutions. Our most recent consulting engagement involved:
- Assisting Philadelphia YVC with streamlining their donor donation process
- Providing the client with a detailed & personalized instruction manual on how to implement further changes to their process
- Diagraming the business process through swim-lane diagrams and presenting these problems and our tentative solutions to the client
Digital Consultant, Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT)
As a digital consultant, I assisted Philadelphia small businesses by mitigating their data to Microsoft Teams, modifying their present data storage system, and providing a detailed guide regarding the future use of MS Teams to both store their data and communicate internally amongst other employees.
Information Technology Assistant (ITA)
As an ITA, I review submissions for assignments, attend classes to help students better understand Tableau & Excel through In-Class Activities and assignments, as well as coordinate with the instructor on student participation and understanding.
- Review assignments where students learn the capabilities of Tableau and Excel.
Sound American Investments – Intern
- Administers company website, www.SoundAmerican.co, and manages the email domain as well.
- Leverages WordPress for creating, editing, and managing content on the website.
- Assists with research and analysis of commercial properties posted for sale on LoopNet.com and Crexi.com for potential purchase.
- Through this internship, I have learned how to effectively run reports, identify key elements of property analysis, and how to communicate findings to clients in a professional business setting.
- I am looking forward to applying these communication skills/professional skills to future internships.
- Developed real estate reports and analyses utilizing Excel by extracting data from multiple sources including CoStar.com, ArcWeb.ChesCo.org, and TrendMLS.com to assist with deal evaluation based on business criteria provided.
- Performed demographic analysis to aid with sight selection for setting up new businesses including restaurants and residential buildings.
- Created and designed flyers (via Constant Contact), presentations (via Microsoft Sway), and social media posts (via Hootsuite) to digitally market available properties and listings to interested buyers.
- Digitized and organized large volumes of documents into an electronic archive for Lieberman associates to access.
Comcast Practicum
- Learned how the company leverages data analytics to improve Customer Relationship Management, Marketing, and Product Development
- Shadowed social media team to see how tools including Twitter and Facebook are channeled to interact with customers and to promote product offerings
- Learned about the company’s initial plan to transition into the biggest technology hub of the Northeast
Carmines Pizzeria – Cashier
- Managed restaurant phone orders, deliveries, and pickups.
- Greeted customers, took orders, and served at their table.
- Performed end of the night closing duties and cleaning process.
