Web Mapping for Non-Programmers: Create Interactive Maps Without Code

Learn how to build professional interactive web maps using user-friendly, no-code tools. Participants will learn to create custom maps using uMap, an intuitive platform for collaborative mapping projects. The session covers map design principles, data import from various sources, collaborative editing features, and embedding maps into websites or presentations. No programming experience required – participants will use point-and-click interfaces to create engaging, shareable maps for research, teaching, and storytelling.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop to receive the Zoom link via a confirmation email. On the day of the workshop, use the link to join the session.
