This webinar gave an introduction to Tableau and gave some insight into what it does and why it is important to know and have as a modern business. It was also mentioned how crucial it is to know as business analysts and how it can help in Business Intelligence. This software tool is used in many different businesses to explore, manage and represent data. An example was given with Chipotle where they would try to keep track of all their data and inventory via spreadsheets which were very inefficient. It was very hard managing all data at once. Dealing with inventory with a food company is very crucial as you are handling perishable items, so one would want to make sure that inventory is correct and that you can keep track of what food goes where. So with a software tool such as tableau, it can make inventory easier to manage as well as represent respective data.
