Campaign For Working Families is a non-profit organization that assists low-income residents of Pennsylvania and New Jersey prepare their taxes. I joined Campaign For Working Families for an internship in the spring of freshman year. My main responsibilities include preparing the tax returns for residents of Philadelphia. I also manage data entry of tax information into the online VITA system that the organization uses. Some other responsibilities I have are reviewing tax preparations done by some of my team members, and making any necessary corrections. I am continuing this role in the 2020-2021 tax year.
